Data Engineer Internship

Helmes is looking for a curious and motivated Data Engineer Intern to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in Data Engineering and work on a revolutionary product for the music industry. The project is a unique and new type of challenge 🎵 The core aim of it is to fix the broken royalties in the music industry, to address the uneconomic systems and replace them with intelligent, automated, cloud-native networks. The core team is the experts with fresh and brave ideas.

Challenges you'll tackle: 

• Design and build data pipelines that power intelligent, cloud-native solutions;  

• Explore AI-powered technologies and evaluate how they can be applied to real-world business challenges;  

• Analyze and model complex datasets to support scalable and efficient data processing;  

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to review, validate, and improve AI-generated solutions;  

• Contribute to system design discussions, helping shape data architectures and cloud-based services;  

• Work with modern cloud platforms and gain hands-on experience with data engineering best practices. 

Skills for success: 

• Strong interest in Data Engineering, AI technologies, and modern software development practices;  

• Good understanding of programming principles and hands-on coding experience gained through university projects, personal projects, or internships;  

• Familiarity with databases, data modeling concepts, and data processing fundamentals;  

• Curiosity about the technology behind AI tools and a critical approach to their outputs;  

• Interest in system design, software architecture, and cloud technologies;  

• Analytical and process-oriented mindset with attention to performance and scalability considerations;  

• Motivation to learn and apply new technologies in practice;  

• Experience with any of AWS, Snowflake, Node.js is a bonus; 

• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
