Talent Acquisition Lead & HR Partner

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking big and making things happen.

About 70% of the role focuses on Talent Acquisition. This means shaping how hiring works at Helmes, leading the recruitment team, strengthening the employer brand, and building Talent Acquisition across the group.

The remaining 30% is HR partnering. Close collaboration with leaders, supporting teams in everyday situations and helping create an employee experience that actually feels good, not just looks good on paper.

Two areas, one goal: helping the right people join and grow at Helmes.

What you will do as Talent Acquisition Lead

- Leading, coaching and growing a Talent Acquisition team of three people.
- Creating a team culture that is grounded in Care, Courage and Efficiency.
- Taking on senior, niche and business-critical hires, including the ones that seem almost impossible to fill.
- Working closely with hiring managers to find people who truly fit, not just on paper.
- Improving how sourcing, interviewing and decision-making work in practice.
- Shaping and strengthening Helmes’ employer brand together with HR and Marketing.
- Trying out modern recruitment approaches, from AI tools to data-driven decisions.
- Bringing more clarity and consistency into Talent Acquisition practices across the Helmes Group.
- Building strong partnerships with HR teams and business leaders across countries.
- Supporting international growth and acquisitions by aligning how we hire.

What you will do as HR Partner

- Acting as a trusted partner for leaders in everyday people topics and decisions.
- Supporting managers throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to growth conversations.
- Coaching leaders in people management, feedback and team development.
- Helping teams navigate change in a way that feels clear and manageable.
- Working with the HR team to improve employee experience and ways of working.
- Turning feedback and insights into changes that people can actually feel.

What we are looking for

Your career path doesn’t have to follow one perfect straight line.

- You may have at least three years of experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally in IT or technology.
Or you may have experience leading a team or function where you have developed people, set direction and managed stakeholders.

We also value

- Experience working with software engineers, technology specialists and leaders.
- Experience improving processes and ways of working.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- The ability to build trust and challenge when needed.
- Good stakeholder management skills, including handling different opinions.
- Experience in employer branding and international environments is a plus.

You do not need to know everything on day one. Curiosity, willingness to learn, and taking ownership matter more.

Helping people grow, asking good questions, and finding better ways of working comes naturally. Seeing the bigger picture while still stepping in when something simply needs to get done.

And ideally, Care, Courage and Efficiency are values that actually mean something to you, not just nice words on a wall.

If this made you pause and think “this could be me”, let’s talk.
