Content Marketing Specialist (Junior/Mid-level)

Helmes Group is built on international software development: 1400+ professionals across 8 countries, €100M+ annual revenue, 500+ clients.

Our continued growth and expanding target markets mean we need more hands on deck. You’d be joining our small core marketing team, helping us turn content challenges into sustainable opportunities.

There is so much big and exciting happening in the world of software development – we’re looking for someone who helps us share it with accuracy, passion and consistency.

What you’d do:

  • Help plan, create and optimize our digital content, from landing pages to campaign materials: research, brief, create drafts, collect feedback, write, edit and so on.

  • Take on our social media content production, especially LinkedIn, and provide hands-on support for our in-house experts in developing their personal content strategies.

  • Keep track of our success: analyse and create simple reports on content experiments (i.e. how one style of post is doing compared to others, how changes on a landing page affect its discoverability etc.)

  • Be the facilitator between our business departments and external copywriters, designers and media partners, managing the communication and keeping track of tasks.

  • Help improve our sales materials, presentations, handouts etc.

  • Work with SEO, analytics and research tools to aid our content production, competitiveness, and visibility.

Professional requirements:

  • Language skills: excellent English (both written and oral) and mid-level German are a necessity; any other language is a strong plus.

  • Interest in IT: even better if you’re already comfortable with the lingo.

  • Copywriting, editing and translating experience, either professionally or through measurable contributions to passion-projects – in English!

  • Project management & prioritisation skills that allow you to stay on top of multiple projects with many stakeholders, and separate nice-to-haves from business needs.

  • A talent for building relationships and sustaining trust: it’s a people-facing role that relies heavily on your ability to bring out the best in others.

  • A pro-active and inquisitive mindset that allows you to identify possible nuggets of gold among the rubble, and inspire even our more introverted people.

  • Ideally, also previous experience working with SEO and analytics tools – but we can forgo that if you’re a mighty fast learner.
